Podcast Reviews "I, Tonya" and its Editorial Efforts

Last December I was listening to one of my favorite movie review podcasts - The Only Podcast About Movies.  Before one of their reviews, Matt & Shahir mentioned how interested they were to see I, Tonya.  I was excited to hear that because I had just finished a six-month stint working my butt off as both assistant editor and vfx editor on the film.  It was a huge honor to be be a part of such a great film and a great crew and so I was happy to hear that other people  were excited to see it.

This morning they dropped their review on the film and I encourage you to give it a listen not only for how much they loved the film, but also for how much they discuss the work of the assistant editor in general.

Also, be sure to check out all of their other movie reviews ON THEIR SITE HERE.  They've recently reviewed all of the Best Picture nominees and they are an enjoyable listen.

Time to take to the ice, spin a triple axel and break down the truth / fiction of the infamous Tonya Harding incident by way of Craig Gillespie's "I, Tonya" Questioning the boundary between real and delusional, Matt and Shahir attempt to figure out if Tonya (Margot Robbie) is the perpetrator, mastermind or victim of the infamous Nancy Kerrigan attack. We also get an opinion from a champion figure skater who chimes in about the movie via e-mail! If you'd like to carve out your opinion on our review, slide us an email at onlymoviepodcast@gmail.com or kneecap us on twitter at https://twitter.com/onlymoviepod A special shout out to listener Steve (an assistant editor on the film) who requested this review!
