About Me.
Editing has been my passion ever since I was a teenager. I currently work as an Assistant Editor on major motion picture features as well as small independent features, while on the side cutting short films, documentaries, music videos and other various projects when I get the chance. When I'm not working I love to sketch, write, catch up on old movies and spend time with my incredible wife Rebecca and our two cats Louie & Penny.
I'm always looking for new opportunities within my career. I graduated from Point Park University with a B.A. in Cinema & Digital Arts with a focus in Editing & Sound Design. I shot, cut and edited numerous short films, commercials, teasers, and music videos in my time there. Since then, I've moved on to working professionally in the cutting rooms of several major motion pictures with the likes of Academy Award winning editors as well as esteemed film directors like M. Night Shyamalan, Peter Berg, Craig Gillespie, David Keopp, and George Tillman, Jr.
Since joining MPEG/Local 700 in 2011, I've worked on many union shows as VFX Editor, 1st Assistant Editor, 2nd Assistant Editor, and Apprentice Editor. I've learned a new skill from each editor and director I've worked with that I take with me onto my next project. I feel I have the necessary skills to keep a cutting room running efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in even the most difficult situations. It's important for all members of the crew to communicate effectively and come together to reach the same end goal of producing an amazing story on screen. My motto is that we're all in this together and only together we can be great.
